Amchoor or aamchur or amchur, also referred to as mango powder, is a fruity spice powder made from dried unripe green mangoes and is used as a citrusy seasoning. It is mostly produced in India and Pakistan, and is used to flavor foods and add the nutritional benefits of mangoes when the fresh fruit is out of season.

Cook 80g of Toor dal in 1 liter of water with 2 tsp of cooking oil and pinch of turmeric. Churn the cooked dal and keep a side. Boil tamarind juice with jiggery Add 4 tsp DFPRuchi RASAM POWDER and salt to taste. Add chopped tomatoes 100g for better taste. Now add churned cooked toor dal and water to the desired consistency. Ceo top near about 10 minutes. Prepare the seasoning of 1 Tsp mustard and asafetida in 2 tbsp of ghee. And add to rasam. Garish with finely chopped coriander leaves. And enjoy as a soup o serve with rice.
